A high-contrast serif with crisp hairline transitions and pronounced thick–thin modulation. The serifs are fine and mostly bracketed, giving stems a carved, slightly calligraphic finish rather than blunt terminals. Capitals feel wide and stable with generous interior counters, while lowercase shows conventional text proportions and clear entry/exit strokes. Curves are smooth and tensioned, and the rhythm is even, producing a polished, bookish texture in paragraph settings. Numerals appear oldstyle with varying heights and extenders, matching the text-oriented tone.

Well suited to book typography, magazine features, and other editorial layouts where a refined serif texture and strong typographic hierarchy are desired. It can also work for formal invitations, cultural branding, and display headlines, especially when paired with ample leading and careful reproduction to preserve its delicate details.

The overall tone is classical and literary, with a refined, slightly dramatic elegance driven by the sharp contrast and delicate serifs. It conveys formality and tradition, suggesting established editorial or cultural contexts rather than casual or utilitarian ones.

The design appears intended as a contemporary take on conventional text serifs, emphasizing elegance and contrast for sophisticated reading environments while retaining familiar proportions and a dependable text rhythm.

The ampersand is notably decorative and looping, and several round letters show a clear diagonal stress that reinforces a calligraphic lineage. Stroke endings stay clean and precise, so the design reads best when there is enough size and resolution for the fine hairlines to hold.
