A chunky serif display face with soft, irregular contours and heavily distressed edges that mimic blotted ink and worn printing. Strokes are generally thick with modest contrast, but the outlines wobble and chip, creating a lively, uneven rhythm across words. Serifs are short and rounded with occasional spur-like nicks, and many terminals end in ragged, torn-looking notches. Counters stay mostly open and readable, while the overall texture adds strong surface noise, especially noticeable in curves and joins.

Best suited to display settings where texture is an asset: posters, event flyers, album art, packaging, and title treatments for horror, mystery, or rustic-themed projects. It can also work for short subheads or pull quotes when you want an aged, printed feel, but it is less appropriate for long body text or very small UI sizes due to the dense edge distressing.

The font projects a spooky, antiquated mood with a handmade, slightly mischievous energy. Its gritty texture reads like aged poster type or a stamped, ink-heavy print, making it feel rustic and theatrical rather than polished or modern.

The design appears intended to deliver an old-print, worn-ink effect on a sturdy serif skeleton, balancing readability with a strong distressed personality. It prioritizes atmosphere and tactile texture—like letterpress or stamped signage—over geometric precision.

Caps are broad and emphatic, while lowercase retains a sturdy, storybook-like structure; together they create a consistent distressed “ink bite” across the set. Numerals share the same rough perimeter and look best when the texture is allowed to be seen at larger sizes. The irregular edge detail can visually fill in at small sizes or on low-resolution outputs, so spacing and size choices will strongly affect clarity.
