A highly stylized italic display face built from sharp, calligraphic strokes with extreme thick–thin transitions and needle-like terminals. Letterforms lean strongly forward and show uneven, torn-looking edges and internal scarring, giving the black strokes a distressed, ink-slashed texture. Capitals are ornate and compact with sweeping entry/exit strokes, while lowercase remains narrow and pointed with minimal roundness and a deliberately irregular rhythm. Spacing and widths vary noticeably across glyphs, reinforcing a hand-cut, expressive silhouette rather than a strictly uniform text texture.

Best used large, where the distressed detailing and razor terminals can be appreciated—such as film/game titles, posters, album artwork, or chapter/opening displays. It can also work for short logotypes and themed packaging where a gothic, ritual, or dark-fantasy voice is desired, but it’s not optimized for extended reading or small UI sizes due to its busy texture and narrow, high-contrast forms.

The overall tone is dark and theatrical, combining formal calligraphy with an aggressive, scratched surface. It reads as ominous and ceremonial—suited to horror, occult, or gothic atmospheres—while still feeling elegant and intentional rather than purely chaotic.

The design appears intended to fuse formal italic calligraphy with a deliberately weathered, slashed texture to evoke a dramatic, gothic mood. Its proportions and ornamental capitals prioritize character and atmosphere over neutrality, aiming to deliver immediate thematic impact in display settings.

Texture is a key part of the design: many letters show jagged breaks along stems and strokes, which increases sparkle and visual noise at smaller sizes. Numerals follow the same sharp, high-drama style, with slender diagonals and tapered ends that match the alphabet’s slashed-ink motif.
