A decorative serif with sturdy, low-contrast strokes and noticeably irregular contours that feel hand-cut rather than mechanically precise. Serifs are sharp and wedge-like with modest bracketing, and many terminals taper or flare subtly, giving the letterforms a carved, slightly weathered edge. Curves are full and rounded (notably in C, O, Q), while joins and verticals show mild wobble and organic asymmetry. The lowercase has a traditional structure with a two-storey a, compact apertures, and a single-storey g; overall spacing appears moderate, with an uneven rhythm that adds texture in paragraph settings.

Well-suited to book covers, chapter titles, posters, and branding where a rustic or old-world voice is desired. It can work for short editorial passages or pull quotes when a textured, handcrafted serif is appropriate, while its irregular outlines make it less ideal for small UI text or dense, long-form reading.

The font reads as historical and handcrafted, evoking print ephemera, folk tales, and workshop-made lettering. Its lively irregularity and pointed serifs add a touch of drama and charm without becoming aggressively ornate, lending an antiquarian, narrative tone to headings and short texts.

The design appears intended to capture a hand-hewn, historically flavored serif look—combining familiar text-face proportions with deliberately irregular outlines and wedge-like terminals to create character and atmosphere.

Uppercase forms are broad and expressive with prominent wedge terminals; the Q features a distinct sweeping tail, and the numerals follow the same chiseled, irregular stroke treatment for consistency. The texture becomes more apparent at larger sizes, where the uneven edge and tapered terminals contribute most to the personality.
