This typeface uses a rough, hand-hewn stroke with subtly uneven contours and wobbly, carved-looking edges. Shapes are mostly simple and open, but the outlines fluctuate in thickness and curvature, creating a gritty texture across words. Terminals often finish in blunt wedges or slight spikes, and bowls and counters feel lightly distorted rather than perfectly geometric. Uppercase forms read as sturdy and blocky, while lowercase retains the same roughness with compact, straightforward construction; numerals match the texture and keep clear silhouettes.

It works best for short-to-medium settings where texture is a feature—titles, chapter heads, posters, event promos, and packaging or labels with a dark or folkloric theme. It can also serve as an accent font in UI or overlays for games and streaming graphics, paired with a cleaner text face for longer reading.

The distressed, chiseled texture and faintly spiked terminals give the font an unsettling, atmospheric tone. It suggests old artifacts, weathered signage, and storybook-dark moods rather than polished modernity, lending a subtle sense of menace without relying on extreme gore or dripping effects.

The design appears intended to mimic imperfect hand-rendered lettering—somewhere between brush/marker and carved woodcut—while maintaining familiar letterforms for easy recognition. Its consistent rough perimeter and slightly pointed finishing strokes aim to add atmosphere and dramatic character to display typography.

The irregular outline creates strong personality and a tactile feel, but the textured edges can visually thicken at small sizes and in dense paragraphs. In sample text the rhythm stays consistent, with the roughness functioning as a repeating surface pattern rather than random per-letter chaos.
