A very light slab serif with crisp, square-ended serifs and fine, even strokes that stay largely consistent through curves and joins. Proportions are open and slightly expanded, with generous counters and a clean, steady rhythm in text. Terminals are precise and minimally bracketed, giving the outlines a sharp, engraved feel; round letters stay smooth and controlled, while joins and diagonals remain delicate without looking brittle. Numerals follow the same light, orderly construction and sit comfortably alongside the capitals and lowercase.

Well suited to book typography, magazines, and other editorial layouts where a light, polished slab serif can add structure without heaviness. It can also work for refined headlines, pull quotes, and formal collateral when you want a crisp, composed tone and a gentle, airy typographic color.

The overall tone is quiet and composed, leaning toward an editorial, literary sensibility rather than overt display. Its thin strokes and neat slabs convey refinement and formality, with a subtle vintage/printing-press flavor while still reading as straightforward and modern in use.

This design appears intended as a plain, dependable slab serif that stays neutral in voice while offering a distinctive, delicate sharpness through its very light strokes and square serifs. The goal seems to be readable, well-paced text and understated elegance rather than personality-driven quirks.

In the sample text, the spacing and vertical rhythm feel measured and consistent, and the light weight produces a pale, elegant color on the page. The square serifs add structure and guidance at small sizes, while the wide set and open counters keep paragraphs from feeling cramped.
