A calligraphy-influenced serif with softly irregular outlines and a subtly rough, inked edge that gives each glyph a hand-cut, printed-from-type feel. Strokes show gentle modulation with tapered terminals and small, bracketed serifs; curves are round and open, while verticals remain slightly organic rather than perfectly straight. Capitals are lively and varied in width, with occasional flourish in diagonal joins and tails, and the lowercase keeps compact proportions with a noticeably modest x-height. Overall spacing and rhythm feel deliberately uneven in a controlled way, reinforcing a human, analog texture without becoming illegible.

Best suited to display and short-to-medium text where its textured, calligraphic details can be appreciated—such as book covers and chapter heads, posters, artisanal packaging, restaurant menus, and boutique branding. It can work for quotes or introductions in editorial layouts, paired with a cleaner companion for long body text.

The face reads as old-world and narrative, like something from a folktale book, Renaissance-inspired signage, or an artisanal label. Its slight wobble and ink texture add charm and approachability, producing a warm, handcrafted tone rather than a polished corporate one.

The design appears intended to evoke historical, hand-made letterforms—combining old-style serif structure with a deliberately imperfect, inked texture for a crafted, period-leaning voice that still reads comfortably in text settings.

In running text the irregular stroke edges remain visible, which adds character at display sizes but can introduce visual noise as sizes get smaller. Numerals share the same hand-rendered personality, with slightly quirky curves and terminals that match the letterforms.
