This serif typeface is built around strong thick–thin modulation with a decidedly vertical stress and very fine hairlines. Serifs are narrow and sharp, with clean, mostly unbracketed joins that produce a crisp, etched silhouette. Proportions feel classical with moderate cap height and a balanced, neither-condensed-nor-wide stance, while curves (C, G, O) are smoothly drawn and the straight-sided letters (E, F, H, N) read clean and stable. Lowercase forms are compact and orderly, with a double-storey a and g, tight apertures, and slender stems that keep the texture airy; figures appear lining with similarly high contrast and delicate detailing.

It performs especially well in editorial contexts—magazine headlines, pull quotes, and book covers—where its contrast and sharp details can be rendered at comfortable sizes. It also suits premium brand marks and packaging, as well as formal stationery such as invitations and programs.

The overall tone is poised and cultivated, evoking book typography and fashion/editorial styling. Its sparkle comes from the fine hairlines and sharp finishing, giving it a polished, premium feel rather than a utilitarian one.

The design intention appears to be a contemporary take on a classical contrasted serif: prioritizing elegance, crisp detail, and a refined reading texture for display-led typography while remaining structured enough for composed text settings at appropriate sizes.

In text, the face produces a bright rhythm with noticeable stroke contrast and slender internal counters; spacing appears measured and even, supporting a composed, formal page color. The ampersand and curved descenders/terminals add a subtle calligraphic liveliness without turning decorative.
