A sharp, blackletter-leaning display face built from narrow vertical stems and aggressively jagged contours. The strokes show pronounced contrast, with thick bodies that taper into needle-like terminals and thorny notches, creating a chipped, ink-bitten edge all around each glyph. Counters are tight and irregular, and many letters carry small spikes at joins and corners, giving the alphabet a serrated silhouette. Spacing reads moderately open for such a dark style, while widths vary by character, producing a lively, uneven rhythm across words.

Best suited to headlines, posters, album/track art, game titles, and promotional graphics where a sinister, theatrical texture is desirable. It can work for short bursts of copy (taglines, pull quotes), but the dense, jagged detailing is most effective when given ample size and breathing room.

The overall tone is dark and threatening, evoking curses, old manuscripts, and horror title cards. Its spurs and clawed terminals add a frantic, supernatural energy that feels more aggressive than antique, leaning into suspense and shock rather than refinement.

The design appears intended to fuse blackletter structure with horror-centric abrasion—using high contrast, tapered strokes and thorn-like fractures to make familiar letterforms feel cursed and unstable. Its goal is impact and atmosphere first, while retaining enough underlying structure to remain readable in display contexts.

Uppercase forms feel more stately and monolithic, while lowercase letters introduce more irregularity and bite, especially in bowls and shoulders. Numerals maintain the same thorned treatment, staying bold and legible at display sizes but visually busy at smaller settings due to the frequent spikes and tight interior spaces.
