This typeface is a stylized serif with sharp, thorn-like terminals and notched joins that create an irregular, carved silhouette. Strokes show pronounced contrast, with thin hairlines and heavier main strokes that flare into pointed wedges at corners and stroke endings. Counters are generally compact and the lowercase appears comparatively small against the capitals, reinforcing a tall, display-oriented rhythm. The overall texture is lively and uneven in a controlled way, with frequent barbs and hooked flicks that give each glyph a slightly menacing edge while staying legible at headline sizes.

Best suited to display typography where its sharp terminals and high-contrast stroke work can be appreciated—movie titles, event posters, haunted-attraction materials, and dark-fantasy or occult-themed branding. It can also work for game interfaces, chapter heads, and packaging where short phrases need an immediate dramatic mood; for longer passages, larger sizes and generous spacing will preserve clarity.

The letterforms evoke occult ephemera and gothic ornament—more “enchanted manuscript” than formal book serif. Its spines, hooks, and tapering cuts read as ominous and theatrical, suggesting curses, folklore, and dark-fantasy atmosphere rather than everyday neutrality.

The design appears intended to blend classic serif structure with aggressive, spiked detailing to deliver instant genre signaling. It prioritizes atmosphere and character over neutrality, offering a legible but highly flavored voice for spooky, magical, or gothic settings.

Round forms like O/C/G keep a slightly faceted contour, and many characters finish in fine needle points that can appear delicate at small sizes. The numerals follow the same jagged terminal language, helping headlines and short bursts of copy maintain a consistent, haunted tone.
