A delicate serif italic with high-contrast strokes and sharply articulated, wedge-like terminals. The letterforms show a lightly faceted, hand-cut feel: curves often resolve into subtle angles, and joins and corners are crisp rather than rounded. Capitals are narrow and upright-leaning with small, pointed serifs; the italic slant is evident but controlled. Lowercase has a relatively moderate x-height with tall ascenders, compact bowls, and narrow apertures, creating a lively, textured line. Numerals and round letters (O, C, G, 0) appear slightly irregular and polygonal, reinforcing the chiseled, calligraphic rhythm.

Well-suited to editorial typography, book and chapter titles, pull quotes, and literary or heritage branding where a classic serif voice with added character is desired. It can also work for invitations or cultural programming materials when a refined, calligraphic italic is appropriate.

The overall tone is bookish and historical, with a slightly eccentric edge that feels handmade rather than mechanically neutral. It reads as refined and cultured, but with a restless, angular energy that can add drama and personality to short passages.

Likely designed to evoke old-style, pen-influenced serif forms with a deliberately irregular, faceted finish, combining traditional proportions with sharper-than-usual detailing for a distinctive, memorable texture.

Stroke modulation is pronounced, and the sharp serifs and angled curves create sparkle at display sizes while increasing texture in longer text. The italic construction and pointed details give headings a distinctive cadence, especially in mixed case settings.
