A high-contrast serif with a crisp, modernized classic structure. Stems are thick and vertical while hairlines and serifs are extremely fine, producing a glossy, magazine-like rhythm. Serifs are sharp and delicate with subtle bracketing, and curves show a predominantly vertical stress, especially in O/Q and the numerals. Uppercase forms are stately with wide bowls and clean joins; lowercase has compact, controlled shapes with a two-storey a and g, a narrow, elegant t, and a distinctive ear on g. Figures are lining and similarly high-contrast, with sculpted curves and tapered joins that match the letterforms.

Well-suited to editorial headlines, fashion and lifestyle layouts, book or film titling, and premium branding where contrast and refinement are desirable. It can also work for pull quotes and short blocks of text when set with generous size and spacing to preserve its hairline details.

The overall tone is luxurious and poised, balancing old-style refinement with a contemporary, high-fashion sheen. Its sharp hairlines and polished curves suggest formality and premium positioning rather than casual or utilitarian use.

The design appears intended to deliver a contemporary interpretation of a classic text serif with dramatic contrast for sophisticated display typography. Its controlled proportions and consistent stress aim for a confident, upscale voice that remains readable while emphasizing elegance.

At display sizes the hairline detailing and crisp serifs read as intentional ornamentation, while in smaller settings the strong thick–thin modulation becomes the dominant texture. The italic is not shown; the samples indicate a consistent, upright roman throughout.
