A sharp, calligraphically inflected serif with angular wedge terminals and crisp, knife-like serifs. Strokes show pronounced modulation, with hairline joins and notably heavier verticals, producing a sparkling, broken texture in text. Curves are slightly faceted rather than perfectly round, and counters stay open and airy. Capitals feel narrow and stately with pointed apexes (notably the A and V), while the lowercase combines compact bowls with brisk entry/exit strokes and a slightly irregular, hand-cut rhythm.

Well suited to display and short-to-medium text where its contrast and sharp detailing can be appreciated—book and chapter titles, pull quotes, literary/editorial layouts, and cultural or heritage branding. It also fits formal printed materials such as invitations or programs, especially when ample size and line spacing preserve the delicate hairlines.

The overall tone is antique and literary, with a dramatic, slightly gothic edge created by the high stroke contrast and faceted detailing. It reads as refined and formal, yet lively—suggesting craft and historical reference more than modern neutrality.

The design appears intended to evoke classic, humanist serif tradition with visible calligraphic pressure and chisel-like finishing, balancing elegance with a deliberately textured, handcrafted rhythm for distinctive reading color and historical character.

In the sample text, the font builds a bright, shimmering page color: fine hairlines and tapered joins create energetic detail, while the sturdier main stems keep letterforms anchored. The numerals share the same chiselled modulation and angular finishing, helping them sit comfortably alongside the text rather than feeling purely mechanical.
