This is a high-contrast italic serif with crisp, bracketed serifs and a pronounced rightward slant. Strokes show calligraphic modulation with tapered entry/exit terminals and a clear diagonal stress, giving curves a lively, drawn quality. Capitals are relatively broad and poised, with sharp beak-like details on forms such as C, G, and S; the Q features a sweeping tail. Lowercase uses compact, rhythmic forms with single-storey a and g, a narrow, gently curved f, and a small but distinct ball terminal on j; overall spacing reads even while letter widths vary noticeably across the set.

Well-suited to editorial design, book interiors, and magazine typography where an italic is needed for emphasis, excerpts, or lead-ins while maintaining a polished, classical texture. It can also serve in refined headlines or pull quotes when a traditional serif voice with motion and contrast is desired.

The tone is traditional and cultivated, evoking book typography and classic publishing. Its energetic italic movement adds elegance and emphasis without feeling decorative, projecting a confident, scholarly voice.

The design appears intended as a conventional text-serif italic with strong calligraphic cues, balancing sharp, formal detailing with smooth reading rhythm. Its proportions and disciplined serif structure aim to deliver a classic, publishable tone suitable for sustained use.

The numerals follow the same italic, high-contrast logic, with strong thick–thin transitions and angled terminals that match the text rhythm. In the sample text, the font maintains a consistent slanted texture and clear word shapes, suggesting it is optimized for fluent reading at text and display sizes.
