This typeface uses heavy, irregular strokes with sharp, splintered terminals and frequent notch-like cuts that make each letter feel carved or torn. Forms are mostly upright but intentionally uneven, with wobbly contours, pinched joins, and occasional hooked ends that create a hand-made, distressed rhythm. Counters tend to be small and angular, and curves often break into faceted, chiseled segments rather than smooth arcs. Width and spacing vary noticeably from glyph to glyph, adding a raw, untamed texture in words and lines.

Best suited for display typography in horror-themed posters, title cards, game and streaming key art, haunted event flyers, and dramatic chapter headers. It can also work for short branding moments—logos, badges, or packaging—where a distressed, threatening voice is desired and the text remains brief.

The overall tone is ominous and theatrical, evoking horror signage, cursed artifacts, and folklore or occult storytelling. The aggressive edges and unstable outlines create tension and a sense of danger, reading as intentionally abrasive rather than refined. It feels suited to moments where legibility can be slightly sacrificed in exchange for atmosphere.

The design appears intended to deliver instant genre signaling through aggressive texture: jagged terminals, irregular weight distribution, and carved-looking contours that suggest age, violence, or supernatural influence. Its inconsistent widths and rough detailing prioritize mood and impact over neutrality, aiming to make headlines feel eerie and handmade.

In the sample text, the strong black mass and uneven silhouettes create a lively texture that reads well at larger sizes, while the ragged details can close up at smaller sizes. Numerals echo the same torn, blade-like finishes, keeping the set visually consistent across letters and figures.
