A display face with sharply tapered strokes and rough, carved-looking edges that create a distressed silhouette. Letterforms mix broad, ink-heavy bowls with sudden needle-like points and hooked terminals, producing a high-contrast rhythm without any smooth, mechanical uniformity. Curves are slightly lopsided and counters vary from glyph to glyph, reinforcing an intentionally handmade, cut-from-paper feel. Lowercase forms sit relatively low with compact bodies, while capitals read taller and more theatrical, especially in round letters like O and Q and in angular forms like M, N, W, and X. Numerals follow the same irregular, pointed treatment, with expressive diagonals and uneven stroke endings.

Best suited for short, high-impact settings such as horror or thriller posters, Halloween promotions, streaming or video title cards, game splash screens, and dark-fantasy book covers. It also works well for logos or event branding where a handmade, unsettling voice is desired, especially at medium-to-large sizes where the spiky detailing is clearly visible.

The overall tone is ominous and theatrical, like lettering for haunted attractions or dark-fantasy titles. Its jagged, tapering shapes suggest danger and suspense, but the quirky irregularities keep it from feeling purely brutal, lending a mischievous, storybook-horror character.

The design appears intended to evoke a hand-cut, haunted display style—mixing calligraphic contrast with distressed edges and exaggerated points to create immediate genre signaling. Its irregular outlines and expressive terminals prioritize atmosphere and character over neutral readability in extended text.

Spacing and glyph widths feel intentionally inconsistent, which adds energy in short bursts but can create a restless texture in longer passages. The most distinctive cues are the blade-like terminals and occasional hooked spurs that appear across both uppercase and lowercase, giving the font a cohesive “scratched” personality.
