This serif face shows tapered, subtly flared terminals that give the strokes a gently sculpted feel rather than hard, rectangular endings. Contrast is moderate, with clearly defined thick–thin transitions and smooth joins, and the serifs read as lightly bracketed with a soft flare into the stem. Proportions are relatively narrow with compact counters, and curves are drawn with a slightly calligraphic tension (noticeable in C, S, and the lowercase a/e). The overall rhythm is even and controlled, with sturdy verticals, modestly long extenders, and numerals that match the text’s vertical stress and serif treatment.

Well-suited to editorial typography—book interiors, magazine layouts, and formal documents—where a classic serif voice and consistent texture are desired. It also works effectively for headings, pull quotes, and identity applications that benefit from a dignified, traditional tone with a touch of flare at the terminals.

The tone is traditional and authoritative, evoking editorial and literary typography more than overt display styling. The flared endings add a refined, slightly engraved character that feels composed and institutional without becoming ornate.

The design appears intended to provide a classic text serif with added refinement through flared, tapered stroke endings, balancing readability with a distinctive, slightly carved finish. It aims for a conservative, professional voice that remains recognizable and elegant in both alphabet and numeral settings.

In text, the face maintains a steady color with clear word shapes; the tapered terminals keep strokes from feeling blunt while still reading firmly at larger sizes. The design leans toward a transitional, print-oriented sensibility, with restrained details and consistent serif behavior across letters and figures.
