A compact, high-waisted serif with strongly compressed proportions and prominent flared terminals that broaden toward stroke endings. Vertical stems dominate, with bracketed wedge-like serifs and a crisp, print-like finish. Curves are taut and narrow, counters are small, and the overall rhythm is dense and vertical, giving headlines a tall, columnar texture. Lowercase forms keep a straightforward structure with a double-storey a, a single-storey g, and sturdy, slightly calligraphic joins that reinforce the flared-stroke motif.

Best suited to display sizes where its condensed proportions and flared endings can read clearly and add character. It performs well for headlines, decks, posters, and packaging that benefit from a classic yet punchy voice, especially when space is limited and a tall, vertical texture is desirable.

The font reads as assertive and slightly theatrical, with a vintage editorial flavor reminiscent of display faces used for posters, newspapers, and classic advertising. Its narrow, tall stance and sharp finishing details create a confident, attention-grabbing tone while still feeling rooted in traditional serif conventions.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact in narrow widths, pairing traditional serif structure with exaggerated flared terminals for a distinctive, print-forward presence. It aims to balance classic editorial authority with a more dramatic, attention-led display character.

In text settings the tight spacing and small apertures create a dark, concentrated color, especially in mixed-case lines with many verticals. Numerals and capitals maintain the same compressed, high-contrast silhouette, supporting strong alignment and a consistent, poster-like verticality.
