A slanted serif face with pronounced thick–thin modulation and firmly bracketed serifs. Strokes show a calligraphic logic, with tapered joins, crisp terminals, and a lively rhythm created by the italic angle and varying internal curves. Proportions lean broad in many capitals and rounded letters, while counters remain open enough to keep the texture readable. Numerals follow the same italic, high-contrast construction, pairing strong vertical stress with elegant curves.

It suits editorial applications where an emphatic, classical italic is desirable—magazine headlines, subheads, pull quotes, and book-cover titling. It can also work for short blocks of text or lead-ins at larger sizes where its contrast and slant can be appreciated without overwhelming the page.

The overall tone is traditional and assertive, projecting a bookish, editorial voice with a touch of drama. Its italic movement adds energy and emphasis, while the classical serif detailing keeps it anchored in familiar, reputable typography.

The design appears intended to provide a traditional serif italic with strong contrast and a confident presence, balancing ornamental calligraphic cues with conventional text-serif structure for clear, familiar typography.

Capitals appear sturdy and display-friendly, with clear differentiation between similarly shaped forms (notably O/Q and I/J). Lowercase forms maintain a consistent italic flow and a slightly condensed, text-oriented feel in sequences, helping paragraphs form an even, deliberate color at larger sizes.
