A slanted, broken-stroke design with sharp, faceted joins and pronounced thick–thin modulation that mimics a broad-pen or chisel edge. Stems are compact and dark, while connecting strokes taper quickly into knife-like terminals, creating strong internal white shapes and frequent triangular counters. Capitals are highly stylized with asymmetric flourishes and notched forms; lowercase follows a tight, rhythmic texture with spiky entry/exit strokes and occasional looped or bowed elements. Numerals share the same cut, calligraphic construction, with angular turns and abrupt tapers that keep the overall color bold and animated.

Best suited to display settings such as posters, album or event titles, mastheads, and branding where a historic or gothic flavor is desired. It can also work for labels, packaging, certificates, and invitations when used at larger sizes with generous tracking to maintain clarity.

The font conveys a historic, ceremonial tone with a dramatic, almost heraldic presence. Its sharp contrasts and fractured curves read as traditional and authoritative, lending a moody, storybook or manuscript-like atmosphere.

The design appears intended to reinterpret traditional blackletter with an energetic, hand-drawn slant and pronounced pen-cut contrast. Its emphasis is on expressive silhouette and period atmosphere rather than neutral, continuous text color, making it a characterful choice for short-form typography.

Spacing and letterfit appear intentionally irregular to preserve a hand-cut rhythm, with some characters showing wider shoulders or deeper notches that add movement across words. The strong diagonals and pointed terminals produce a lively texture, but the dense black forms suggest it performs best when given room and size to breathe.
