A sharply modeled serif with pronounced wedge-like, flared stroke endings and strong thick–thin modulation. Serifs read as tapered and triangular rather than blocky, with smooth bracketed joins that give the letterforms a carved, calligraphic feel. Counters are generally compact and vertical stress is evident in rounds like O and C. Uppercase proportions feel slightly condensed and stately, while the lowercase shows sturdy verticals, compact bowls, and a lively italic-like curvature in some terminals without an actual slant. Figures are sturdy and display-like, with distinctive shaping in curved digits (notably 2, 3, and 5).

Best suited to headlines, magazine display typography, book covers, and premium branding where strong contrast and sculptural serifs can be appreciated. It also works well for packaging and short pull quotes, especially at medium-to-large sizes where the distinctive terminals remain clear.

The overall tone is assertive and theatrical, pairing classical roots with a fashionable, editorial sharpness. Its crisp transitions and flared endings convey prestige and seriousness, while the sculptural details add a touch of flair suited to attention-grabbing typography.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic serif voice with heightened contrast and expressive flaring, emphasizing visual drama and a refined, crafted finish for display-driven composition.

Stroke joins and terminals often resolve into pointed wedges, creating a consistent rhythm of sharp accents across the alphabet. In text, the dense color and compact counters increase impact but can feel busy at smaller sizes or in long passages, making spacing and size choices especially important.
