This typeface is a sharp-edged display serif with a distressed, irregular perimeter that reads like small bites, chips, and thorny notches taken out of otherwise sturdy strokes. The letterforms keep a fairly traditional skeleton—clear stems, bowls, and serifs—but the terminals are aggressively sculpted into spikes and uneven wedges, creating a restless outline while preserving legibility. Curves (notably in C, O, and lower-case rounds) are interrupted by rough, cratered edges, and counters stay open and well-defined. The lowercase follows the same treatment with compact, upright proportions and consistent texture across letters and numerals, giving paragraphs a dark, gritty rhythm rather than a smooth text flow.

This font is best suited to short, prominent text such as titles, headings, logotypes, poster typography, and packaging where a sinister or supernatural mood is desired. It can work for on-screen uses like game menus or event graphics when set with generous tracking and adequate size to keep the rough edges from clogging.

The overall tone is ominous and theatrical, mixing old-world serif structure with a corrupted, weathered surface. The chipped contours and pointed terminals evoke haunted manuscripts, cursed artifacts, and horror title cards, delivering tension without fully sacrificing readability.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic serif presence that has been deliberately damaged and sharpened to suggest decay, danger, and the supernatural. It aims for impactful display readability while projecting a consistently eerie, story-driven atmosphere.

The distressing is integrated into the silhouette rather than applied as random speckling, so shapes remain bold and contiguous at typical display sizes. Angular spikes frequently appear at joins and serifs, which adds a flickering, menacing sparkle along baselines and caps.
