A high-contrast serif with pronounced thick–thin transitions, vertical stress, and long, delicate hairline terminals. Serifs are sharp and lightly bracketed to unbracketed in feel, giving strokes a crisp, engraved quality. The design is very wide with generous sidebearings and open counters, producing a spacious rhythm in both caps and lowercase. Uppercase forms feel stately and classical, while lowercase shows a restrained, bookish construction with a two-storey g and fine entry/exit strokes; numerals follow the same contrasty logic with elegant curves and thin joins.

Best suited to display and large-size editorial settings—magazine headlines, pull quotes, cover lines, and refined brand typography—where its hairline detailing can be preserved. It can also work for short text passages in high-quality print or high-resolution digital contexts, especially when ample spacing and careful contrast handling are desired.

The overall tone is cultured and premium, leaning toward editorial sophistication rather than utilitarian text neutrality. Its airy spacing and hairline details convey luxury and formality, with a calm, composed presence suited to high-end typography.

The design appears intended to deliver a contemporary take on classic high-contrast serifs: wide proportions, disciplined verticals, and razor-thin detailing that reads as premium and editorial. It prioritizes elegance and visual drama through contrast and spacing rather than dense text economy.

Thin horizontals and hairline serifs become the dominant identifying feature, especially in E/F/T and along curved letters like C/G/O/Q. The wide set and light color make the face feel expansive and bright on the page, while the strong verticals keep it disciplined and structured.
