A slanted serif design with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a strongly calligraphic rhythm. Serifs are bracketed and often sharpen into wedge-like forms, while many strokes end in rounded, teardrop terminals that give the outlines a sculpted, inked feel. The capitals are broad and weighty with crisp joins and lively diagonals; the lowercase shows a flowing italic construction with compact counters and energetic curves. Numerals echo the same high-contrast build, with curled terminals and a slightly ornamental finish that remains consistent across the set.

Well suited to editorial headlines, book and album covers, and campaign typography where a confident, classic serif italic is desired. It can also work for branding and packaging that benefit from a traditional, high-contrast voice, especially at medium to large sizes where the terminals and contrast are most legible.

The overall tone is assertive and elegant, blending old-style editorial sophistication with a touch of theatrical flair. Its high-contrast italic voice reads as refined and expressive, lending a premium, slightly romantic character to headlines and prominent text.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional serif foundation with heightened contrast and an expressive italic cadence, prioritizing strong silhouette and typographic presence. Its detailing suggests a focus on display and editorial impact while maintaining recognizable, traditional letterforms.

Stroke contrast is a defining feature, and the slanted forms create forward motion without feeling overly delicate. Distinctive terminal treatment (notably the ball/teardrop endings) adds personality and can become a visual signature in display settings.
