A jagged, distressed display face with tall, condensed letterforms and abrupt stroke tapering that creates sharp, thorn-like terminals. Strokes alternate between thin hairlines and thicker, inky blobs, producing a broken high-contrast rhythm and an uneven color on the page. Edges look torn and eroded, as if drawn with a dry brush or printed from a worn plate, with frequent nicks, notches, and interior bites. Uppercase shapes are narrow and upright, while lowercase is notably smaller with a very short x-height and irregular, sometimes simplified construction; numerals follow the same rough, hand-cut feel.

Best suited to short headlines and display settings where the distressed texture can be appreciated—such as horror and fantasy posters, game title screens and UI accents, album artwork, and theatrical or event branding that benefits from a menacing, weathered voice. It is less appropriate for long passages, where the heavy edge noise and small lowercase can reduce comfort.

The font reads as sinister and atmospheric, evoking horror titles, occult ephemera, and weathered signage. Its scratchy texture and spiked terminals add tension and urgency, giving text a dramatic, uneasy voice rather than a neutral one.

The design appears intended to simulate eroded ink and hand-cut lettering with dramatic, spiked terminals, prioritizing mood and texture over typographic neutrality. It aims to deliver instant genre signaling—dark, unsettling, and aged—through irregular outlines, broken strokes, and high-contrast ink behavior.

Texture is highly assertive: counters and joins often appear partially filled or chipped, and baseline/height alignment feels intentionally uneven to enhance a handmade, distressed effect. At text sizes the roughness dominates, while larger sizes showcase the expressive edge detail and tapering ends.
