A sculpted serif with strongly modulated strokes and wedge-like, flared terminals that broaden as they meet the ends. Serifs read as sharply tapered and often asymmetrical, giving the letterforms a chiseled, slightly calligraphic edge rather than a strictly geometric construction. Counters are relatively compact and the joins are crisp, producing dense, high-impact word shapes; curves (notably in C, G, O, and S) show pronounced thick–thin transitions. The lowercase has a traditional structure with a two-storey a and g, a narrow, slightly pinched e, and a descending j with a pronounced hook, while figures are lively and oldstyle-leaning in feel with varied widths and angled terminals.

Best suited to display typography where its sculpted contrast and flared terminals can carry a page: magazine headlines, fashion and culture editorial, posters, and premium branding. It can also work for short pull quotes or titling on packaging and labels, especially when paired with a quieter text companion for longer reading.

The overall tone is refined and theatrical, combining classical bookish authority with a couture/editorial punch. Its sharp wedges and brisk modulation suggest confidence and luxury, with a faintly historic, engraved flavor that reads sophisticated rather than rustic.

The design appears intended to deliver a high-impact serif for contemporary display use, blending classical proportions with flared, wedge-like endings to create a distinctive, upscale voice. Its emphasis on dramatic modulation and crisp terminals prioritizes character and hierarchy over neutrality.

In the text sample, the heavy vertical presence and tapered hairlines create strong texture and clear hierarchy, especially in headline sizes. The distinctive flaring at terminals and the energetic curves give it a recognizable voice, though the dense forms and tight interior spaces may require generous leading and careful tracking in longer settings.
