A sturdy serif with pronounced stroke contrast and confident, weighty main stems. Serifs are bracketed and often wedge-like, giving terminals a carved, printlike finish rather than a slabby block. Curves are generously rounded with full bowls and moderately open counters, while joins and shoulders stay smooth and controlled. The lowercase shows a traditional structure with a two-storey “g” and a compact, sturdy rhythm; figures are similarly bold and clear, with a slightly condensed feel in some forms compared to the capitals.

Well-suited to headlines, decks, and pull quotes where a strong, classic serif voice is needed. It can work in editorial and book-cover contexts, especially when the goal is a dense, authoritative typographic texture. For longer passages, it will be most comfortable at sizes and leading that prevent the bold color from feeling heavy.

The overall tone is assertive and traditional, with a strong editorial presence. Its heavy color and crisp contrast suggest seriousness and credibility, while the rounded curves keep it from feeling overly sharp or brittle.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional, print-oriented serif look with extra impact, combining traditional bracketed serifs and classic proportions with a heavier, attention-grabbing presence.

In text settings the face creates a dark, even typographic color, emphasizing headlines and short blocks. The capitals read as stately and stable, and the punctuation and dots appear intentionally substantial to match the weight of the letterforms.
