A sturdy monoline serif design with compact, typewriter-like construction and deliberately imperfect outlines. Strokes stay fairly even while terminals and serifs appear blunted and slightly rounded, with small irregularities that suggest ink spread or mechanical wear. Counters are open and simple, curves are slightly lumpy rather than perfectly geometric, and the overall texture reads as consistently “inked” across letters and numerals. The set maintains a steady rhythm and spacing typical of fixed-width faces, giving lines a regimented, gridded feel.

Works well for headlines and short passages where a typed, documentary flavor is desired—such as vintage-inspired posters, labels, packaging callouts, and editorial pull quotes. It’s also a strong choice for prop design (letters, forms, dossiers) and interfaces or graphics that aim to evoke terminals, receipts, or stamped/typed ephemera.

The font conveys a practical, archival tone—like a typed document that’s been handled, copied, or printed with a slightly worn ribbon. Its imperfections add a human, tactile presence while keeping an orderly, no-nonsense voice suited to messaging that wants to feel authentic and analog.

The design appears intended to recreate the visual behavior of mechanical typing—regular, structured letterforms paired with subtle wear and ink variation to avoid a sterile digital look. It prioritizes recognizability and a consistent typographic rhythm while adding just enough roughness to feel physical.

Distinctive details include a curled tail on the capital Q, a single-storey a, and a simple, workmanlike numeral set that reinforces the period-document character. The slightly softened corners and uneven edges create a consistent distressed texture without collapsing legibility in the sample text.
