A flamboyant serif with highly sculpted, poster-like letterforms and pronounced thick–thin modulation. Stems and bowls are heavy and rounded, while counters are pinched by sharp, wedge-like cut-ins and occasional hairline notches that create a carved, stencil-adjacent feel. Serifs are small but assertive and often flare into triangular terminals; curves show strong vertical stress with teardrop-like joins and dramatic internal shaping. Widths are generous and vary noticeably by character, producing an uneven, lively rhythm; numerals and capitals feel especially display-oriented with exaggerated bowls and compact, high-contrast detailing.

Best suited to headlines, poster titling, and brand marks where its dramatic contrast and sculpted forms can be appreciated at larger sizes. It can also work well for packaging and entertainment-oriented graphics that benefit from a vintage, high-impact typographic voice.

The overall tone is bold and theatrical, with a vintage, slightly eccentric personality that reads as playful rather than formal. The sharp interior cuts and swashy terminals add a sense of motion and attitude, evoking classic poster titling and expressive editorial headlines.

The design appears intended as a display serif optimized for maximum impact and distinctiveness, using exaggerated contrast and carved-in details to create lively silhouettes and a strong, ornamental texture.

In the sample text, the dense black mass and tight internal apertures make long passages feel heavy, while short words and mixed-case settings show striking silhouettes and strong texture. The design’s distinctive cut-ins and flared terminals create memorable word shapes but can reduce clarity at smaller sizes or in crowded layouts.
