A tightly condensed serif with tall proportions, short extenders, and a strong vertical rhythm. Strokes show noticeable contrast with sturdy main stems and sharper, lighter connecting strokes, giving the shapes a crisp, poster-like presence. Serifs are small and wedge-like with subtle bracketing and occasional flared terminals, while many joins feature pinched notches that read as ink-trap–style cut-ins. Counters are compact and the overall texture is dense but controlled, with consistent alignment and a clean, upright stance.

Best suited to display typography where space is tight and impact is needed—headlines, posters, mastheads, and packaging labels. It can also work for short pull quotes or cover typography where a condensed, classic-but-unusual serif voice helps establish a strong visual identity.

The tone feels vintage and theatrical—confident, slightly eccentric, and built to project. Its compressed forms and sharp details evoke old playbills, newspaper headlines, and classic packaging, while the pinched joins add a distinctive, characterful edge.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum presence in a narrow width, combining a traditional serif skeleton with distinctive pinched joins and compact counters for a recognizable, headline-ready signature.

Uppercase forms are especially narrow and towering, creating a strong columnar look in all-caps settings. The lowercase keeps the same compressed rhythm and uses straightforward, readable shapes, while figures are similarly tall and compact, matching the display-driven cadence of the alphabet.
