This typeface presents a poised serif construction with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a predominantly vertical stress. Strokes terminate in sharp, flared wedge-like serifs and tapered ends, giving many joins and terminals a chiseled, calligraphic finish. Proportions feel classical and slightly condensed in the capitals, with smooth, rounded bowls and clean, decisive curves. The lowercase shows a balanced rhythm with a two-storey a, a generous bowl on g, and a distinctly tailed Q; counters are open and the overall texture is crisp and lively at text sizes.

It is well suited to editorial settings such as magazines, essays, and refined longform typography, especially where a crisp, elegant voice is desired. The sharp flared serifs and strong modulation also make it effective for book titles, pull quotes, and premium branding applications that benefit from a classic, cultured tone.

The overall tone is polished and literary, with a sense of traditional craft and quiet sophistication. Its sharp terminals and high modulation lend a fashion/editorial edge while still reading as classical and bookish rather than ornamental.

The design appears intended to blend classical serif proportions with flared, wedge-like terminals to produce a refined, contemporary take on traditional book and editorial typography. Its consistent high-contrast rhythm and chiseled endings suggest an aim for sophistication and clarity in both display and readable text settings.

The glyphs show consistent flare behavior at stroke endings, creating a subtle engraved or stone-carved impression without becoming overly decorative. Numerals and capitals carry a formal presence suited to display, while the sample paragraph suggests a controlled, even color in continuous reading when set with comfortable leading.
