A heavy, slab-serif display face with broad proportions and pronounced contrast between thick main strokes and finer joins. The letterforms are built from chunky, squared shapes with confident horizontals and flat terminals, while select corners and stroke ends are subtly chamfered. Throughout the set, irregular internal cutouts and small notches interrupt strokes, creating a hollowed, mechanically “bitten” texture that reads consistently across capitals, lowercase, and numerals. Counters are generally open and sturdy, and spacing feels geared toward headline sizes rather than dense text.

Best suited to posters, large headlines, branding marks, labels, and packaging where the internal cutouts can read as intentional texture. It can also work for editorial display or event graphics that want a tough, industrial tone without going fully distressed.

The repeated knockouts give the type a gritty, industrial edge, like ink wear, stenciling artifacts, or a deliberate glitch treatment. It feels assertive and utilitarian, with a retro poster sensibility that can swing from rugged to playful depending on color and layout.

The design appears intended as a bold display slab that adds character through consistent hollowed knockouts and notched details, turning traditional blocky forms into a more energetic, engineered texture for attention-grabbing typography.

The hollow interruptions are most noticeable on verticals and bowls, where they create a rhythmic banding that can become visually active in long lines. The design’s strong horizontals and slab structure help keep it coherent despite the distressed detailing, but the texture may overwhelm at small sizes or in low-contrast settings.
