A high-contrast italic serif with flowing, calligraphic construction and a lively baseline rhythm. Strokes move from fine hairlines to fuller stems with pronounced thick–thin modulation and diagonal stress, while serifs appear bracketed and tapered rather than blocky. Many terminals finish in sharp wedges or subtle teardrops, and curves are drawn with a slightly elastic, hand-led feel. Uppercase forms read formal and upright in structure despite the slant, while the lowercase shows more cursive energy, with narrow joins, angled entry strokes, and distinctive descenders.

Well-suited to editorial typography where an italic voice is needed—book interiors, magazine features, and pull quotes—especially at text and display sizes where the contrast and slant can articulate emphasis. It also fits premium branding, cultural institutions, and invitation or event materials that benefit from a classic, refined tone.

The overall tone is literary and classical, combining refinement with a human, handwritten warmth. It feels traditional and cultured, with enough motion and contrast to suggest elegance and ceremony without becoming rigid.

The design appears intended as a traditional, old-style inspired italic that reads smoothly while retaining visible pen-like modulation. Its goal is to deliver an elegant emphasis style with clear serif structure, expressive curves, and a warm, humanist texture.

Spacing and proportions favor a crisp, editorial texture: capitals are stately and open, while lowercase letters lean into compact, italic word shapes. Numerals echo the calligraphic modulation, with curved figures and slender transitions that keep the color consistent in text.
