This serif displays pronounced contrast between thick stems and hairline-like connecting strokes, with crisp, triangular wedge serifs and subtly flared stroke endings. Curves are smooth and fairly round, while many joins and terminals resolve into pointed, chiseled forms that give edges a clean bite. Proportions feel traditionally bookish with a moderate x-height, compact apertures, and steady baseline rhythm; numerals and capitals read evenly, with the overall color staying dark and disciplined in text. The lowercase shows a two-storey a and g, sturdy verticals, and narrow internal spaces that reinforce a formal, print-oriented texture.

Well suited to editorial design, magazine headlines, book and journal titles, and branding that needs a traditional yet crisp presence. It can also work for short passages of text where a refined, high-contrast serif is desired, especially when paired with ample leading and comfortable sizes.

The tone is classical and editorial, projecting seriousness and polish rather than friendliness. Its sharp serifs and high-contrast modeling suggest a cultivated, literary voice with a slightly dramatic, engraved finish.

The design appears intended to reinterpret a classic serif model with more angular, flared finishing, enhancing clarity and sophistication in display and editorial contexts while maintaining a conventional reading rhythm.

In the sample text, the strong contrast and pointed terminals create a lively sparkle at display sizes, while the dense, well-aligned rhythm keeps paragraphs looking orderly. The punctuation and figures carry the same sharp, sculpted treatment, supporting consistent emphasis in headlines and pull quotes.
