A decorative serif with high-contrast strokes and a narrow, compact stance. The serifs are bracketed and often flare into soft, wedge-like feet, with several characters showing rounded ball terminals and slightly bulbous stroke endings. Curves feel hand-shaped rather than perfectly geometric, and joins taper with a calligraphic rhythm that creates lively, uneven color across a line. Uppercase forms are relatively tall and assertive, while the lowercase maintains a moderate x-height with distinct ascenders and descenders and a gently irregular, old-style texture.

Best suited for display typography such as headlines, book and album covers, posters, invitations, and branding where a vintage, narrative tone is desirable. It can work for short passages or pull quotes at comfortable sizes, but its strong contrast and idiosyncratic terminals are most effective when given room to breathe.

The overall tone reads classic and characterful, evoking antique printing, storybook titles, and a lightly theatrical, Victorian sensibility. Its eccentric terminals and lively contrast give it a playful seriousness—formal at a glance, but noticeably quirky up close.

The design appears intended to reinterpret old-style serif traditions with a more illustrative, hand-finished touch. By combining narrow proportions, pronounced contrast, and whimsical terminals, it aims to deliver a distinctive historical voice for attention-grabbing titles and ornamental typography.

The numerals and punctuation inherit the same flared, softly sculpted treatment, helping display settings feel cohesive. Because stroke contrast and decorative endings are visually prominent, spacing and word shapes appear more expressive than neutral, especially in mixed-case text.
