A sturdy slab-serif design with flattened, squared terminals and frequent chamfered corners that create an octagonal, machined feel throughout. Strokes are fairly even, with minimal contrast, and the serifs read as bold, blunt slabs rather than delicate brackets. The letterforms are generously proportioned with open counters and a slightly extended horizontal footprint, producing a steady, poster-friendly rhythm. Curves are regularly “clipped” into facets (notably in C, G, O, Q and numerals), while verticals remain firm and straight, giving the face a consistent engineered geometry.

Best suited to headlines, labels, and display typography where its chamfered slabs and industrial geometry can be clearly seen. It also performs well for short paragraphs in editorial or packaging contexts that want a robust, vintage-leaning texture, and for signage or wayfinding where sturdy forms and open counters help maintain clarity.

The overall tone feels industrial and utilitarian with a nostalgic edge, evoking stamped signage, workshop labeling, and old-fashioned printed ephemera. The chamfered geometry adds a rugged, crafted character that can read as subtly Western or frontier-adjacent without becoming overtly decorative.

This design appears intended to combine the dependability of a slab-serif structure with a distinctive faceted finish, translating round forms into clipped, tool-like geometry. The goal seems to be a practical, readable face that still carries a strong visual signature for display and identity work.

Uppercase and lowercase share the same faceted construction, keeping the texture cohesive in continuous text. Numerals echo the clipped, octagonal logic (especially 0, 8, and 9), reinforcing a sign-painting or metal-plate sensibility. The face remains legible at text sizes, but its distinctive corners and slab terminals are most noticeable at medium to large settings.
