This serif typeface shows pronounced stroke contrast with crisp, tapered terminals and subtly flared stroke endings that widen as they approach the serifs. Serifs are bracketed and finely modeled, giving stems a sculpted, calligraphic feel rather than a purely geometric construction. Curves are smooth and generous with tight, clean joins; diagonal strokes (V, W, X, y) appear sharp and neatly tapered. The lowercase has a traditional book-face rhythm with clear counters and a moderate, readable proportion between bowls and stems, while numerals follow the same high-contrast, old-style-influenced drawing with elegant curves and thin hairlines.

Well-suited to book typography and long-form editorial where a classic serif texture is desired, and it also performs convincingly for magazine headlines, pull quotes, and refined brand wordmarks. The distinctive tapered terminals and contrast make it especially effective in display sizes and high-quality print contexts.

The overall tone is poised and traditional, projecting a literary, editorial character. Its high-contrast detailing and tapered finishing add a sense of refinement and ceremony, suitable for premium or historically minded typography without feeling ornamental.

The design appears intended to blend traditional serif readability with a more sculpted, flared-stroke finish that adds personality and elegance. It aims for an authoritative, literary feel while remaining clear and composed in continuous reading.

In text, the spacing and stroke modulation create a lively light–dark rhythm, especially in round letters like o, e, and c and in the strong verticals of n, m, and u. The flared finishing and sharp hairlines become more prominent at larger sizes, where the sculpted terminal shapes read as a key part of the voice.
