A heavy slab-serif design with broad proportions, strong verticals, and compact counters that hold up at display sizes. Serifs are chunky and gently bracketed, with rounded joins and occasional teardrop-like terminals that soften the otherwise blocky geometry. The letterforms show a consistent worn texture—speckling, nicks, and slight edge breakup—creating the look of inked type pressed onto rough stock. Uppercase has a sturdy, sign-painting-like presence, while lowercase keeps a traditional structure with a single-storey a and g and a clearly dotted i/j, maintaining readability despite the distressed surface.

Best suited for short, high-impact typography such as posters, headlines, badges, and logotypes where the texture becomes part of the identity. It also fits packaging and apparel graphics that want a worn, heritage feel; for longer text, it will read most comfortably at larger sizes where the distressed details don’t compete with letter recognition.

The font conveys an old-time, down-to-earth attitude—part frontier poster, part well-used rubber stamp. Its weathered finish and stout slabs read as confident and handmade, with a friendly roughness that feels nostalgic rather than aggressive.

The design appears intended to combine a classic slab-serif silhouette with a convincingly aged print treatment, delivering instant character and a tactile, analog presence. It aims to feel sturdy and familiar while adding visual grit that suggests history, craft, and use.

Distress is applied consistently across strokes and interiors, producing a believable printed patina without collapsing shapes. Numerals follow the same robust, slightly softened style, with the 2 and 3 showing pronounced curves and the 0 remaining roomy enough to stay legible under texture.
