A serif display face with wide proportions, high-contrast strokes, and bracketed serifs that flare into wedge-like terminals. The forms are sturdy and slightly condensed in their internal spaces, with sharp joins and pronounced vertical stress. Throughout the alphabet and numerals, the outlines stay fairly consistent while the black areas carry a mottled, worn texture and small edge abrasions that mimic imperfect inking or letterpress debris. Capitals read bold and emphatic, while the lowercase retains a traditional serif structure with a modest x-height and clear ascenders/descenders.

Best suited to display typography where texture can be appreciated—posters, event bills, product packaging, identity marks, and storefront-style signage. It can also add character to short editorial headings or pull quotes, but the distressed detailing is most effective when set large and with comfortable spacing.

The overall tone is vintage and workmanlike, evoking printed ephemera, saloon posters, and well-used signage. The distressed texture adds grit and a tactile sense of age, making the face feel bold, candid, and slightly rowdy rather than refined.

Designed to deliver a classic serif silhouette with an intentionally worn, printed patina, balancing strong readability with a weathered, analog feel. The goal appears to be instant atmosphere—suggesting heritage and grit—without sacrificing the familiar structure of a traditional serif.

The distress pattern appears inside counters and along edges, creating a consistent “ink-wear” effect that becomes more noticeable at larger sizes and heavier settings. Numerals are stout and legible, with the same roughened finish as the letters, supporting cohesive headline use.
