This serif shows sturdy, softly bracketed serifs and moderate stroke modulation, with an overall hand-touched, slightly irregular finish. Curves are generous and open, and many terminals end in rounded, subtly flared shapes that feel more inked than machined. The lowercase has a compact, readable structure with a two-storey “a” and “g”, a gently hooked “f”, and a long-tailed “j” that adds vertical play. Capitals are broad and classical, with a distinctive, sweeping “Q” tail and a slightly calligraphic tension in diagonals such as “K”, “V”, “W”, and “X.” Numerals share the same old-style flavor, with softened corners and a drawn, engraved-like presence rather than rigid geometry.

Well-suited to long-form reading in books and editorial layouts where a warm, traditional serif is desired. It also works effectively for heritage-oriented branding, packaging, and titles that benefit from an antique, craft-printed feel.

The tone is traditional and human, evoking printed pages, craft, and heritage signage. Its small irregularities and softened terminals give it a friendly, lived-in voice—more storybook and historical than corporate or technical.

The design appears intended to blend classical serif structure with a subtly calligraphic, inked character—prioritizing readability while preserving the charm of older printing and hand-influenced letterforms.

In text, the face maintains an even color and comfortable spacing, while the lively details (hooks, spurs, and slightly swelling joins) keep paragraphs from feeling sterile. The shapes remain clear at reading sizes, but the personality is strong enough to register in headings and short display lines.
