A heavy, all-caps-forward display face with rough, torn-looking contours and uneven internal counters that resemble chipped ink or worn stencil cutouts. Strokes are chunky and mostly monoline in feel, but edges wobble and break, creating constant micro-variation across the alphabet. The proportions lean compact with short-ish extenders and slightly inconsistent widths, producing a lively, jittery rhythm. Curves are lumpy and angular in places, and bowls/counters often show pitted, distressed texture that reads clearly at display sizes.

Best suited to short, high-impact text such as posters, headlines, covers, and title cards where the rough edges can be appreciated. It also works well for branding moments that want a handmade, gritty feel—punk/garage music, Halloween or horror-themed materials, craft beverage labels, and distressed retro packaging. For longer copy, larger sizes and increased spacing will improve clarity.

The overall tone feels gritty and dramatic, like weathered poster type or ink that has been dragged across coarse paper. The distressing adds a mischievous, slightly ominous energy that can skew toward horror, punk, or DIY underground aesthetics depending on color and layout. It communicates imperfection on purpose—raw, loud, and attention-seeking rather than refined.

The design appears intended to simulate worn, imperfect print or hand-cut lettering by combining chunky letterforms with persistent edge breakage and pitted counters. The goal is expressive texture and attitude over neutrality, delivering a distressed display voice that feels tactile and intentionally unpolished.

The texture is distributed throughout both outlines and interiors, so dense settings can visually fill in; generous tracking and ample size help preserve the distressed details. Numerals share the same torn treatment and have a hand-cut character, reinforcing the handcrafted, imperfect mood.
