A rough, display-oriented serif with jagged, torn-looking contours and irregular interior voids that suggest worn printing or distressed brush/ink application. Strokes are heavy with sharply broken terminals, notched edges, and occasional splatters or bite-like divots, creating a lively, unstable silhouette across the alphabet. Serifs are present but fragmented and inconsistent, with wedge-like, clawed forms that vary from glyph to glyph. Counters tend to be uneven and organic, and the overall rhythm is intentionally disrupted, producing a texture-forward word shape rather than smooth typographic continuity.

Best suited to large sizes where the ragged detailing can be appreciated: titles, posters, trailers, album or book covers, and themed packaging. It can also work for short UI labels in games or events when a gritty, ominous atmosphere is desired; for longer passages, it’s more effective as an accent font paired with a calmer text face.

The distressed forms read as dark and theatrical, evoking horror titles, occult ephemera, and gritty, handmade signage. The spiky breaks and rugged ink texture add tension and urgency, giving text a sinister, pulpy tone that feels aged, abused, and attention-seeking.

This design appears intended to deliver an immediate thematic punch through aggressive, weathered letterforms—prioritizing mood, texture, and impact over neutrality. The consistent distressed vocabulary across letters and numerals suggests it was drawn to unify horror/monster aesthetics in a ready-to-use display face.

Uppercase has a commanding, poster-like presence, while lowercase remains highly stylized with pronounced roughness, making continuous reading feel intentionally abrasive. Numerals match the same shredded contour language, keeping headings and short callouts visually consistent.
