A high-contrast serif with vertical stress and sharply tapered hairlines set against fuller main stems. Serifs are thin and crisp, giving terminals a precise, chiseled finish, while curves show clean, controlled modulation. Uppercase forms feel stately and slightly wide in their internal spacing, and the lowercase maintains a steady, readable rhythm with compact joins and prominent ascenders/descenders. Numerals match the text with elegant contrast and decisive, fine finishing strokes.

Best suited to headlines, pull quotes, and large-format typography where the hairlines can stay intact and the contrast can be appreciated. It also fits luxury branding, formal invitations, and cover typography; for long passages, it will perform most comfortably at generous sizes and with ample line spacing.

The overall tone is polished and authoritative, with a distinctly upscale, editorial character. Its dramatic contrast and sharp detailing suggest formality and ceremony, reading as classic rather than casual.

The design appears aimed at delivering a refined, classic serif voice with pronounced contrast for high-end presentation. Its crisp serifs and disciplined proportions prioritize elegance and hierarchy, making it well-suited to settings where typographic sophistication is part of the message.

In text, the strong stroke modulation creates pronounced light–dark patterning, which enhances sophistication but can make paragraphs feel more “display-like” at larger sizes. Round letters (O, Q) appear notably elegant, and the italic is not shown, reinforcing a straightforward, upright voice.
