A decorative serif with thin, hairline strokes and an engraved interior texture that reads like stippling or cracked inlay within the main stems. The letterforms use narrow, tapered terminals, small wedge-like serifs, and occasional sharp hooks, giving the outlines a slightly scratchy, hand-tooled feel despite an overall upright construction. Counters are generally open and the rhythm is irregular in a deliberate way, with uneven internal patterning and subtle wobble in curves that makes each glyph feel individually worked rather than mechanically uniform.

Best suited to display settings where the etched detailing can be appreciated—posters, book or album covers, themed event materials, and boutique packaging. It works especially well for fantasy, gothic-lite, or vintage-inspired concepts, and for short headlines, titles, and pull quotes rather than dense body text.

The font projects an antique, storybook mood—part Victorian curiosity, part handmade ephemera. Its etched fill and wiry serifs create a playful eeriness that can feel theatrical, mysterious, and a bit mischievous without turning fully dark or heavy.

The design appears intended to mimic an engraved or pen-scratched decorative serif, combining classic proportions with an intentionally distressed, patterned interior to evoke aged printing and handcrafted ornament. The goal is strong personality and thematic atmosphere over neutrality and long-form readability.

The interior texture is a defining feature: it sits inside verticals and bowls more than in open spaces, producing a high-detail silhouette that can look busy at small sizes. Numerals and capitals carry the same etched treatment, helping headings and short lines feel cohesive and ornamented.
