A very heavy, high-contrast serif with strongly bracketed serifs and rounded, teardrop-like terminals that give many strokes a softly sculpted finish. Curves are full and slightly bulbous, and joins show a subtle swelling that produces a lively, inked rhythm rather than rigid geometry. The capitals are sturdy and compact with broad feet and pronounced head serifs, while the lowercase carries a pronounced old-style flavor through rounded bowls, a double-storey a, and a two-storey g with a generous lower loop. Numerals are robust and formal, with clear modulation and prominent serifing that keeps them visually consistent with the text letters.

This design is well suited to headlines, cover typography, and editorial display where its bold serifs and high contrast can carry a strong typographic presence. It can also work for short passages such as pull quotes or section openers, especially when a classic, printed tone is desired.

The overall tone is traditional and authoritative, with a distinctly bookish, heritage feel. Its weight and contrast read as confident and editorial, while the rounded terminals soften the voice, suggesting warmth and craft rather than severity.

The font appears intended to deliver a conventional serif foundation with an extra dose of weight and personality, combining classic proportions with rounded, inked detailing for emphasis. Its forms prioritize impact and character in display settings while maintaining familiar text-serif structure.

Spacing appears comfortable at display sizes, and the heavy forms create strong word shapes with clear vertical emphasis. The pronounced serifs and ball-like finishing details add character that becomes more noticeable as size increases, making it particularly expressive in headings.
