A condensed serif with slender proportions and gently flared stroke endings that give stems a subtle taper-in/taper-out rhythm. Serifs are small and bracketed, with sharp, chiseled corners and clean transitions, keeping the overall texture crisp without strong thick–thin drama. Counters are relatively tight and vertical emphasis is pronounced, while curves (notably in C, G, S, and the numerals) remain smooth and controlled. Lowercase forms read as compact and upright with modest apertures, creating an even, disciplined color in text.

Works well for headlines, subheads, and pull quotes where a tall, compact serif can add authority without heavy contrast. It also suits book and magazine applications—especially covers and section titles—where space efficiency and a classic tone are desirable. For branding, it can convey heritage and refinement in logotypes or wordmarks, particularly when set with generous tracking.

The tone is formal and literary, with a reserved elegance suited to classic editorial typography. Its narrow stance and sharpened details suggest seriousness and authority rather than casual warmth, leaning toward a traditional, bookish voice with a slightly dramatic edge in display sizes.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic serif voice in a space-saving, condensed footprint, using flared terminals and crisp serif detailing to add character without relying on high contrast. It aims for a controlled, editorial texture that stays disciplined in text while still feeling distinctive in display settings.

In the sample text, the condensed spacing builds a strong vertical cadence and can feel dense in longer lines, while headlines gain presence through the tall, clean silhouettes. Numerals and capitals share the same taut, upright posture, helping mixed settings feel consistent and structured.
