A heavy, high-contrast serif with strongly flared, wedge-like terminals and bracketed joins that give the strokes a carved, calligraphic feel. Counters are relatively tight and the rhythm is compact, with pronounced thick–thin modulation on curves and diagonals. The lowercase shows a short x-height with tall ascenders, while many letters feature distinctive ink-trap-like notches and ball/teardrop terminals (notably on forms like a, j, and y), reinforcing a sharp, sculpted silhouette. Numerals are bold and display-oriented, matching the pointed terminals and confident contrast of the letters.

Best suited to display typography where its bold color and flared terminals can be appreciated—headlines, covers, posters, and branding applications such as packaging or labels. It can also work for short editorial callouts or pull quotes, especially where a vintage or authoritative tone is desired.

The tone is assertive and nostalgic, evoking classic editorial typography and old-style signage with a slightly theatrical edge. Its sharp flares and deep contrast add drama and authority, making text feel ceremonial and attention-getting rather than neutral.

The design appears intended as a bold display serif that merges classical serif structure with exaggerated flared terminals and deliberate notching to maximize impact. Its proportions and contrast aim for strong word shapes and a distinctive, memorable texture in large sizes.

In the sample text, the dense color and compact spacing create a strong page presence; the heavier joins and tight counters can feel dark at smaller sizes but read powerfully in headings. The distinctive terminals and notched joins contribute to a recognizable voice across both uppercase and lowercase.
