A sharply inclined serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and crisp, bracketed serifs. The forms show a calligraphic, wedge-driven construction: heavy main strokes with hairline transitions, tapered entry/exit strokes, and occasional ball/teardrop terminals (notably in lowercase and figures). Uppercase letters are compact and sculpted with strong triangular serifs and tight internal counters, while the lowercase shows more movement—single-storey a and g, lively curves, and an energetic rhythm that makes spacing feel intentionally irregular and characterful. Numerals follow the same high-contrast, italicized logic, with angled stress and pointed terminals for a cohesive texture in setting.

Best for headlines, subheads, pull quotes, and short editorial statements where the strong italic motion and high contrast can carry the design. It can also work for branding, packaging, and poster typography that needs a classic serif voice with extra drama and presence.

The overall tone is confident and theatrical, pairing traditional serif authority with a distinctly expressive, italic swagger. It feels suited to punchy, attention-seeking typography that still reads as established and editorial rather than novelty.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional serif foundation while amplifying impact through extreme contrast, pronounced serifs, and a vigorous italic angle. Its characterful lowercase and stylized terminals suggest a focus on display readability and expressive texture over neutral, long-form text economy.

Stroke endings often taper to fine points, and several glyphs use rounded terminals as accents, giving the face a slightly baroque, display-leaning finish. In text, the dense black shapes and strong slant create a dynamic, fast-moving line, with emphasis driven more by contrast and gesture than by open, airy counters.
