A bold, angular serif with pronounced chamfered corners and faceted curves that read as octagonal in counters and bowls. Strokes are largely even in thickness, with flared, wedge-like terminals and sharp bracketless joins that give the outlines a carved, beveled feel. The uppercase is compact and blocky with strong vertical emphasis, while the lowercase keeps a short x-height and sturdy proportions, producing a tight, rhythmic texture in text. Numerals follow the same cut-corner geometry, with an especially polygonal ‘0’ and robust, sign-like silhouettes overall.

Well-suited to display roles where impact and tradition are desired—sports and collegiate branding, badges and emblems, event posters, and product packaging with a heritage angle. It also works effectively for short headings and pull quotes, where the strong faceting and sharp terminals remain clearly legible.

The overall tone is assertive and traditional, evoking signage, crests, and institutional lettering. Its crisp edges and chiseled construction add a dramatic, slightly medieval or blackletter-adjacent flavor without becoming fully calligraphic. The impression is confident and ceremonial, with a vintage sports and heritage sensibility.

The letterforms appear designed to mimic cut or engraved signage, using bevel-like chamfers and flared terminals to project solidity and craft. The consistent polygonal logic across the set suggests an intention to deliver a cohesive, emblematic voice that stands out strongly in titles and marks.

The design relies on consistent corner chamfers and straightened arcs, which helps maintain uniformity across letters, numbers, and punctuation. In running text the dense shapes and short lowercase can feel weighty, making the font read more like a display face even at moderate sizes.
