A forceful, right-leaning serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a compact, sturdy internal structure. Serifs are bracketed and wedge-like, with several strokes finishing in teardrop/ball-like terminals that add a slightly calligraphic flavor. The capitals feel broad-shouldered and authoritative, while the lowercase shows lively curvature and occasional swash-like entry/exit strokes. Figures appear oldstyle and flowing, reinforcing a text-oriented, classical rhythm even at display sizes.

Best suited to high-impact typography such as headlines, book and magazine titling, posters, and prominent pull quotes where its contrast and italic dynamism can carry the composition. It can also work for short bursts of text (introductions, captions, standfirsts) when a strong, classic emphasis is desired.

The overall tone is bold and assertive with a classic, literary sensibility. Its energetic italic movement and high-contrast stress give it a dramatic, headline-ready voice while still reading as rooted in conventional book-serifs.

The design appears intended to deliver a traditional serif voice with added momentum and theatricality through a strong italic slant, high contrast, and expressive terminals. It aims to bridge conventional text-serif credibility with display-level emphasis.

Spacing and rhythm look intentionally varied, with notable stroke flare and rounded joins that keep the heavy weight from feeling rigid. The lowercase introduces more personality than the capitals, especially in letters with curved tails and terminal drops, which can become a defining texture in longer lines.
